Six Nations

Six Nations Located 10 minutes southeast of Brantford is the Six Nations of the Grand River Territory, the most populous Aboriginal community in Canada. Enjoy the colour and excitement of the famous Grand River Champion of Champions Pow-wow in July, or say goodbye to the summer at the Six Nations Fall Fair.

Stroll down the tree-lined pathway to the serene beauty of Her Majesty’s Royal Chapel of the Mohawks (the Grand’s oldest building), or discover the river-side Chiefswood National Historic Site, home of famous Mohawk poetess E. Pauline Johnson.

And when in the area, view the exhibits and regular events at the Woodland Cultural Centre, just up the road from the Mohawk Chapel.
